The work Eros and Apate is created using clay, plaster, fabric and flour. The artist wants the viewer to consider the individual materiality of each participating object to record physical time and experience, while also acting as an active site for performance.
Although the human body here is the central protagonist in defining the final shape of the piece, the resulting forms are equally mediated through the interaction and struggle of the acting bodies which also act as absorbing mediums.
The final mould created in plaster of the clay surface is displayed next to video of the performance as a silent narration.
